Someone buying a fish at a market asks: May I have a plastic bag?

Fishmonger: Already inside!

being gay in the internet? who'd do such a thing?

A piece from me in the Toroto Star today, I'll flesh out my concerns more in a post later, but the Eglinton Crosstown is good, which is a problem, because while the stations are palatial, the streetcar style trains are not high capacity.

I woke up at 3:55 this morning to stand in -25 degree weather for two hours and visit every station of the Eglinton Crosstown. This 8000-word essay contains all of my thoughts and a whole lot of photos. The overall takeaway? It's good, but there's things to improve.

We'd love to hear from the Delhivery.com team. Our tile.openstreetmap.org service is run by volunteers and funded by donations. We've had to block Delhivery's app from using our tile service due to the strain it placed on us. We tried reaching out, but were directed to their app not available in our team's region. Let's hope you won't need that functionality very often.

Return trains were at WL80 so booked a bus from Urappakkam to Ernakulam and then a train to my place. Again, confused how to reach Urappakkam bus stand. CoMaps couldn't help with public transport this time, so I made up this route with Wikipedia articles on Chennai suburban railway.

walk: iitm research park - thiruvanmiyur railway station
Chennai MRTS: thiruvanmiyur to chennai beach
south line chennai suburban: chennai beach to urappakkam
walk: urappakkam to urappakkam bus stand

Is there a faster way? this is on saturday btw, hope the suburban trains run on weekends too

@internetarchive did it really have to be automattic? could nobody step in to help bring this about?

also latest season made me realise, British Railway stuff is pretty interesting, much more akin in scheduling to Indian Railway stuff than those modern Europeans with their integrated clockface scheduling and international train services

god damn jetlag is great, i wanna play hide and seek in my city, it would be so diabolical, I mean half the city would be ruled out I guess of infrequent train and bus lines, but aaaaaaa, i want to become Ben
