@juliank apparently the MBA will thermal throttle much more quickly than the MBP (which might have active cooling, not sure), which might be important for some people/workloads. I recently set up an M2 MBA and a M1 Max MBP, very different feeling machines

For years of my professional IT life, I cursed at SELinux. I can finally relive those days again in Debian today, with AppArmor, seemingly enabled by default on minimal installs!
@directhex I can't recall having a cell phone that used this but ....I must have it for some reason so I guess my memory is fallible
@bobmcwhirter hah. well, you're right, and probably pushing me towards asking the better question. I don't think I've ever owned a palm pilot. I'm racking my brains to think of what tech I might have had, which it was for (and assuming I don't anymore)
