Ich glaube das ist eine sehr coole Sache. Der Pi ist nicht so teuer und die Kinder können damit einfach anfangen ein paar Grundlagen zu lernen. Da er ein RJ45 Anschluss hat, kann man auch sehr einfach Online und Offline arbeiten. Kabel raus => offline :) Dann geht es nur mit Mama oder Papa online.
Jetzt muss ich nur etwas an der Desktop Umgebung arbeiten und dann ggf. noch an etwas Dokumentation für die Eltern. 🫡

Debian Junior Pi400
Today, I got a new SD card. I installed #Debian from raspi.debian.net (again) for the #Raspberry Pi 400. (the new sd has 64 GB).
The idea is to use the Pi to develop and test a Desktop for Debian Junior.

The system use 7,6 GB. We tried supertux already :)
What I may need to do is to setup a junior-desktop-data package which contains all configuration files,.. we will see.

Hab es am Wochenende noch schnell installiert. Läuft soweit,...
... allerdings dauert es ziemlich lange bis VLC den Server findet. Starte ich den minidlna per restart neu, dann ist er sofort im VLC sichtbar.

Du kannst in einigen Clients die OMEMO device list löschen. Das ist ein PEP Node. Wenn deine Clients wieder online gehen, sollten dieser dann sein Device wieder in der device liste setzen.
In profanity geht dies mit dem Befehl "omemo clear_device_list".

Clear your own device list on server side. Each client will reannounce itself when connected back.
