@cmconseils they just kept adding on top huh

This house in Istanbul has levels from 4 separate historical periods, spanning over 1800 years.

A side-by-side image showing a dilapidated, multi-story building. The image on the left is the original photograph, revealing layers of different construction materials from a stone and brick arch base to more modern upper floors. The image on the right has colored overlays indicating the historical era of each section. From the bottom up, the layers are labeled: Roman Empire (red), Byzantine Empire (orange), Ottoman Empire (dark orange), and Republic Era (yellow-green).

@awai true

@RueNahcMohr ah, nice, def. gonna steal that

Holy hell, the new #Halestorm album slaps.
Especially "Like A Woman Can", "Darkness Always Wins" and "Rain Your Blood On Me".

Definitely listening to that on repeat in the coming days.

Question for #electronics folks: When soldering, do you rip off a chunk or just pull the roll when handsoldering? I tend to do the former but sometimes I can't be bothered so pulling it is.

@navi so much this. I get that they want to cater to 95% of users (with systemd), but leaving the door open never hurts. Moved already away from #GNOME 2 years ago; this just loses them users.

@FloraIncognita_DE schade, dann wird die nicht installiert.

@cmconseils so much this

@FloraIncognita_DE Gibt es Pläne die App zu opensourcen?

@mdione yeah basically

@mdione TIL, in German we have "Brotzeit" conveing the same

ngl, #GNOME Calender 49 looks really sleek, kudos to the devs.

@mntmn For now I have my config files in git too, but Chezmoi is able to restore even packages across machines while not being as heavy as ansible

Apparently this requires restating:
We should not want a European Palantir.
We should not want an open-source Palantir.
We should not want a non-commercial Palantir.

If it is supposed to do what Palantir does, we should not want it.

And I don't care to what extent Palantir's products are shaped by political or profit motives. We know enough to reject its logic altogether.

Common interest oriented DB Navigator means open-source, does it ? DOES IT !?!?
