@navi I skipped the first sentence and though that was an IRL perpetuum mobile
Submitted my talk to the #Easterhegg CfP

@ravi For a mind-bending series: Dark
Das Leben der Anderen is also really good.
I can also recommend watching "Die Sendung mit der Maus". It's a kids show, but it's really good insofar as how they show how products are made in a way that is even relevant for adults.

#Debian work I did this week:
- Backported xournalpp to stable
- Uploaded gucharmap and utf8proc to experimental for unicode-data 17
- Uploaded a new swayosd release
- Updated a few Rust crates, notably zbus
- Uploaded neovim-lint and neovim-conform to NEW
Other stuff:
- Found a bug in #Kicad's footprint generator I am currently trying to fix
- Started work on a PCB (USB-C PD -> banana plugs)

@jon this is likely EMI interference. Have you tried plugging the monitor into a separate wall outlet? Likely a other device causes a short induced voltage peak that temporarily disables the monitor.

Note that this expects several plugins, and isn't really documented. Also, I was too lazy to port my vimrc, so it's just sourced.

@navi @toast @lanodan @mia true. I feel there needs to be a some middle ground; personally, I dislike PPAs since they often contain low-quality packages. Debian packaging can get hard to right. That being said, there has been and is work to get some consistent workflows. I plan to hold a talk about that, too.
@mia @lanodan @navi @toast @whynothugo we do have debusine now; while at the moment it's still Debian developer-only it allows for a PPA-like distribution. I do hope it gains more traction and allows also non-contributors to publish their packages.

Started listening to a podcast on the Iraq War (Blowback), and I... just need a break now. This is truly fucked. Like I knew the US were evil, but this is a whole new level.
@anarchiv got reminded about "Death in Venice" by that. Pretty fucked up book.
