#Debian work the last week:
- Got arduino-cli, bibiman, ripgrep-all and skim uploaded
- Uploaded gst-thumbnailers to unstable
- Updated railway-gtk to the latest version
- Sponsored uploads for tree-sitter* packages
- Started work for various rust package transitions

Damn, Inuyasha didn't have to hit like that. Unfortunately still true today.

Work OH: "The PWR_FLAG in #Kicad is the pacifier for the ERC"

Worked a bit more on my nixie tube supply circuit, also (finally) ordered the remaining parts.

Nice, #sway 1.12 (with wlroots 0.20) can now share dedicated windows. One of the few things that did annoy me a bit in the past, as one could only share the whole screen. Great to see this implemented now; much appreciated.

@mirabilos heh, sent them my recommendation to *not* apply there. crazy that in the end you might not get hired just because of Mark

Just watched a video on #KiCad and genuinely laughed at this analogy:
"Image decoupling capacitors as electron storage. Like you would keep snacks in your desk drawer, and not go to the store for a snack. In a similar way the capacitors provide energy to the ICs."

Fucks sake, there are LLM slop recipe generators now. Can the whole hype please just die?

tfw the datasheet still has old German orthography

Just (hopefully) uploaded a #Debian package using tag2upload. It generates a signed git tag that then is magically processed by the archive software. Quite nice IMO, as it saves me one step for uploading. Thanks to spwhitton and @Diziet for driving this!

@wanderinghermit I have done that with my laptop SSD quite a few times, *should* just work those days. That being said, some hardware might not be supported because of firmware and/ or kernel issues. Since I have wired ethernet and a ryzen CPU / amd GPU in both systems it just worked™, YMMV. If you have a nvidia GPU in the desktop PC you'd need to install the nvidia drivers before switching, for instance.

@navi I skipped the first sentence and though that was an IRL perpetuum mobile

Submitted my talk to the #Easterhegg CfP

hm, a wayland version of xbiff with the layer-shell protocol would be a fun project

Just ordered USB-PD trigger ICs, also finally set up my mail alias.
