It passed.

Codeberg bans vibe coded slop.

(EDIT: No, I do not want to debate the percentages of LLM code allowed or "how will people enforce this, I can still vibe code and not tell". This is a statement about intent by a community. It will be a moderation challenge, especially with so many people who have made "coding with an LLM" their whole personality but it's doable. But don't waste your and my time with these boring, juvenile arguments)

Just sent off a proposal to debian-vote to ban LLM-assisted contributions, surely this will go well ...

I really should setup @InvenTree , this would've saved me 10 minutes of searching through my #electronical components stash. Of course the one I needed wasn't there :/

100% true.

I just realised that I've been using adblock
so consistently, for so long, that I have basically no idea what the average person's experience of the internet is like.

Every now and then I use someone else's device that isn't so locked down. And I'm floored by how useless and annoying the internet is. IDK how people do this.

@navi vim-classic

Changed/fixed my bike tire yesterday and it's still leaking air somewhere. Ordered two new ones, hopefully that'll do it. Though I am grateful this is the only major issue in ~3 years, really low-maintenance.

@sad_electronics though it's not that well suited, I use Nextcloud deck for keeping track

Hey you! Take a drink of water

Go home upower, you're drunk.
A screenshot showing a supposedly full battery with 815 hours charge left.

@navi had a really rough awakening a while back when I was following a blog post for RISC-V assembler and nothing worked. Turns out, it all was slop. In the end I wrote everything myself, by hand.

@anarchiv yeah, I am really trying to cut back on it too and switch it for black/green tea

hii, trying my best to make it in Germany and i really need a job asap. im basically starting from square 1 again due to life issues.
im a very skilled programmer but without a prior job or formal qualifications and my German isn't great (A2~)
not looking for anything luxury just any old job will do. My primary skills are Rust and C++ (& C#) I've worked with lots of cursed technologies like C++/CLR too and have experience writing compilers and decompilers. I also write a Rust GUI toolkit and have relevant experienced there too.
just really need a first step to properly start my life here.
I'm based in Karlsruhe so here or remote would be perfect (I'm fine even with 5 days in person a week, just as long as the commute is <40(min by dticket))
