Space Weather: Incoming solar storms
Several solar storms were launched towards Earth during the last 24 hours, all from Earth-facing region AR4455.
Flares times and peaks:
M3.3 16h50 UT 02 June: CME observed 631km/s
M9.3 01h36 UT 03 June: CME observed 253km/s
M7.9 07h00 UT 03 June: CME observed 313km/s
X1.1 11h28 UT 03 June: 10cm radio burst indicating a CME, no further details.
The first CME should hit late on the 4th or early on the 5th. The slower CMEs will bunch up together (faster one is behind) and should reach us around the 8th or 9th, but timings are uncertain.
NOAA has issued a G3 geomagnetic storm watch for 04 and 05 June (UT).
