Debian Maintainer | A Computer Nerd who also happens to be a Debian Packager.

I'm a hobbyist programmer. Outside of the computer world, I'm a STEM Major who likes inventing things.

I’m also a hobbyist graphic designer who mostly designs posters and media content for Debian India

Outside of geeky and nerdy stuff, I play a lot of video games, mostly single player ones.

Profile Picture is Flora Fountain from South Bombay, India.

Went to a movie today but forgot to map the surrounding areas on OSM :(

@billchenchina burgers and fast food are unhealthy though. I usually limit my consumption of those for this reason. Once in a while is fine for me. The recent burger I had was from a KFC in a train on the way to Mumbai.

@praveen @billchenchina Curious, how do you stay energised with just 2 meals? Do you go for a low carb diet?

@niyabits welcome to the thinkpad gang. oh actually im gonna join the Mac family soon lmao. Maybe in May

@billchenchina I haven't eaten McDonalds in like 8 years..... KFC is the only fast food chain that I eat at but that too in like once in 4-5 months. I average 1 burger every 3 years and 4-5 pizzas in a year.

Second shot at learning Deutsch.

Dropped midway through German classes in sophomore year due to academic stress. Picking it up again to keep my brain engaged and have fun.

I realised I have a natural talent for pattern recognition when I had that Automata Theory Course so I'm gonna experiment it with Deutsch if I can use those skills to the fullest.

@niyabits thanks I’m more worried about postgrad though. It’s one giant glass ball of uncertainty as to where I’ll end up in a year.

New semester has started and it’s already pretty boring. Getting close to graduation so more of those sleepless nights from now on

Took me an hour to type it but I finally posted about my Mumbai trip on my blog, The entire trip could be summed up as surviving a Final Destination movie

@sounddrill @wesleyote @fluoriteByte my accent depends on how much of undisturbed sleep I get the previous night. Ranges all the way from speaking like someone from not in India to barely getting any words out of my mouth.

@werdahias all this time I thought you had signature on XD I used to do that too but felt it’s more convenient to use signatures in thunderbird

@disaster2life @sahil his presentation was funny as hell lmao. Lots of jokes. Definitely the best talk of MDC Navi Mumbai.

@cjwatson @cjwatson @cjwatson happy Hanukkah Colin

New semester starting in about a day and there’s plenty of ITPs, learning new packaging workflows, adopting some pending packages, pinging upstream to fix some bugs left to be done. One step at a time I guess.

@proprietedusage @thelinuxEXP nice so librewolf is an option. However I’m a little hesitant to move away from Firefox after all these years of using it. I didn’t expect that they’d go to this level :/

@sahil * SpaciousCoder78 attempts to read this with his broken Hindi skills

@proprietedusage @thelinuxEXP I’ve ditched chrome and it’s chromium based browsers 5 years ago. I could switch to librewolf or any gecko browser but does it sync my stuff using my Mozilla account such as passwords bookmarks? It’s one of the reasons why I kept using Firefox

Me a confused Firefox user after noticing that Mozilla wants to introduce AI slop into Firefox:

@thelinuxEXP being a Firefox fan, I’m kinda confused which browser to use now. Maybe I’ll just stick to Firefox and disable the slop.
