As much as I wish to switch away from JS bloated stuff, I am too scared to switch away and rely too much on all of it.
I've had beepy on my radar, and I have always wanted one / have had plans to make a personal hackable PDA more inline with what I understand as the WiPhone (just learnt of it).
Currently planning on turning my old phone into a linux device, but my laziness knows no bouds :^/

@badrihippo never thought of KaiOS as a portable hackable device in this sense? I wonder how good a deal it is

@sophie144p Yup! been trying not to look at the prices but I decided to check today, it is affordable, and a lot of the artists I listen to are generous enough to share their art for free, only problem is ive raked up some 800 tracks on spotify, and since nearly affordable, *impulse buying*, I will probably slowly accumulate it all, and NO! I will burn it all to CD, find old cd player that can play music on its own, and play from that. Been getting more into queer music, might.
I should not be allowed to buy music, this is rabbithole which ends with me having no money, I can see it now, why is buying music I like so nearly affordable.
