Today, #GPLv3 turns exactly 18 years old. This month, #GPLv2 turned 34 years old. These are both great licenses and we love them. Nevertheless, at least once in a generation, #FOSS needs a new approach to strong #copyleft.

@tg9541 @kuehn @Mastokarl finde, einen Taschenrechner bedienen zu können, und sei es nur im Haushalt Ausgaben zu addieren, is eine grundlegende Fertigkeit. 3 versch. Taschenrechner in einer Schullaufbahn ist natürlich übertrieben, einer langt. Sehe aber nicht den Sinn, dies abzuschaffen.
@tg9541 bin selbst angehender Ingenieur. Es stimmt, dass man an der Uni am meisten rechnet. Diese theoretidchen Kenntnisse sind jedoch unabdingbar für das tiefere Verständnis (z. B. EMV). Auch wenn man im Berufsleben kaum mehr rechnet finde ich es falsch, diesen Teil der Ausbildung zu andern, da man ein gutes Zahlenverständnis gewinnt, welches mMn als Ingenieur unabdingbar ist.
@tg9541 Bin kein Lehrer, aber in verschiedenen technischen Ausbildungen sowie Studiengängen ( Elektrotechnik, Mathematik, Physik, Machatronik, etc.) ist dieser unabdingbar. Auch wenn der Großteil der Schüler nicht in STEM Feldern weitere Ausbildung genießt ist dies mMn ein wichtiger Skill. Es gibt immer Dinge, die man während der Bildungslaufbahn durchläuft, die persönlich einem selbst nichts bringen im Leben.

@grillchen @fabos have to basically revise all of system theory in like 2 weeks. Doable, but a lot of effort. Nano electronics should be fun and not too hard, it's about when quantum effects come into play for semiconductors. MCS is mostly studying microchip ASM until I can write it by heart.

Fuck, I'm tired. Mostly because of studying a lot, but the hot weather and the messed up and insane state of the world contribute to it.
@lucydev alacriity, fastest one there is IMO. I'm salty at the devs though for outright refusing to implement sixel.
