Just came back from a #techsupport quest at an eldery person...
Highlights:
- DELL UEFI requiring manual addition of the EFI grub boot entry
- $person forgot their mail password; I had to extract it from outlook using some shady tool
- Epson Linux printer drivers being garbage and not working
-Outlook exporting a contacts csv file with 100 columns
#Linux Mint #Debian Edition worked OOTB, no issues at all with sound, network, camera etc.
Nice to see that, and how it's easier for old people.

Urgent help for OpenPrinting needed!
As many here know, I am co-founder and lead of OpenPrinting since 2001, known as the print guru for Linux and free software by many. I also got one of the 8 fellows of the Linux Foundation for this.
Up to now I was working at Canonical, hired back in 2006 just to run OpenPrinting and also to maintain printing-related Ubuntu packages.
Sitting on the balcony in the summer rain, smelling the petrichor with all exams done. Pure bliss.
