Oh my.

In my case the problem was "your prepaid data bundle was supposed to be activated but it wasn't and now my 50-something megabytes of data usage was charged by the megabyte which cost me nearly 30 euros".

It took only a few minutes to get an actual human on the line, then a further few minutes for her to confirm and fix on their side and refund me 30 euros, so at least there was *some* competence there...

An Android tablet that you then root and run a normal Linux on? You can do this with some models, though unfortunately not all.

There are also some laptops that have detachable screens which then essentially turn into tablets.

+1. Soooo agree.

I had a bot yesterday going 'if this answered your question, you can just hang up', which I thought implied I'd get an actual human on the line afterwards if I stuck around, but no! The bot just hung up on me.

So I had to call back and choose a random different option in the menu. At least that did give me a human and the problem was resolved...

You can also buy laptops with Linux installed from major laptop manufacturers these days. Dell and Lenovo, at least.

Try managing it when you move servers.

My current Algo:

- Get the new server
- Add the new server to SPF, and add it as low-prio MX (but don't run anything on port 25, yet)
- wait a month
- cross fingers
- pray to the gods of email. Like, *really* hard
- switch servers, but keep the old server around, just in case
- monitor results
- if problems occur: switch back and fix

The msdn article mentions that superscript digits are recognised as digits and therefore also illegal, but your repository doesn't have them.

COM¹.txt (and 2, 3 but my phone doesn't allow me to type those in superscript) should be in it too.
