I just signed up for some citizen science to track flu trends. I'll get an email once every Monday asking if I developped a cough or fever in the previous week. They pair that with sewage testing to try to spot trends early.
Not too intrusive: I had to give the first half of my postal code, my birth year and an email address at which to receive the weekly one question survey.
